The challenge
Kemal runs MoeJoe’s cafés in Uppsala and wanted to modernise the loyalty side — with a system that feels as fresh as the concept itself and runs smoothly day to day. For Kemal there were three clear challenges:
Fiddly physical stamp cards — the paper cards felt dated and did not match the concept. Kemal wanted something digital that matched the MoeJoe’s look.
App fatigue among guests — app-based alternatives require an App Store or Google Play download, which becomes an extra hurdle before the first stamp.
Communication that does not land — email campaigns drown in the inbox, and cafés need a fast, personal channel that actually gets read.
The solution
With PayAtt, MoeJoe’s got:
1A digital stamp card that replaced the paper cards — modern, fresh and shared across both MoeJoe’s cafés. The guest sees their progress no matter which café they visit, and can collect several rewards on the same card.
2No app needed — the guest enters their mobile number on the display at the counter and gets the link straight via SMS. The stamp is registered automatically, and the progress is clearly visible on the phone.
3SMS sends instead of email — short, personal reminders about rewards or offers that reach the customer directly. Everything is handled in the web portal where Kemal designs the card and plans the sends himself, with no technical support needed.
The result
Repeat visits are up and additional sales follow. Kemal clearly sees how guests build up their stamp cards and come back to reach the next milestone or reward — knowing you are "one stamp away from a free coffee" becomes a trigger for that extra visit.
