Loyalty in 15 minutes
It shouldn't take a month to get started. It shouldn't take a month to get started. Here's how to set up a working system over a cup of coffee.

Most small business owners don't say no to loyalty programmes because they think it's a bad idea. They say no because they assume it takes time they don't have. A vendor comes to visit. A contract needs to be read. The staff need training.
That's the technical anecdote from 2015. Today the reality is much simpler.
The technical debt isn't yours
For a decade, the IT industry sold loyalty systems as large projects. What used to be an IT project is today a product you pay a monthly fee for. What used to require a developer today requires a charger and a wifi network.
What 15 minutes actually gets you
Let's be concrete. If you sit down on a lunch break with a tablet or a phone:
Minutes 1–3: Register your business online. Company name, address, contact details, industry.
Minutes 4–7: Design your first stamp card. Choose the logo, colours, how many stamps are needed, what the reward is.
Minutes 8–11: Define the registration flow. The customer will enter their mobile number on a screen at the till, and be signed up.
Minutes 12–15: Connect the screen at the till, test registration, add the first stamp.
Kemal at MoeJoe's puts it simply: "We wanted to get rid of complicated physical stamp cards and instead have a modern and fresh system." After the lunch break, the system is live.
Why it's easier than you think
The most important design principle in modern loyalty tools for small businesses is that they don't integrate deeply with the till system. A system that requires integration needs API access, developer time, test periods. All of that takes weeks.
A system that stands on its own legs – a screen, a customer list, a stamp card – just needs wifi. It's less complex than taking a card payment.
Summary
Loyalty programmes aren't an IT project anymore. They are a product you order over a lunch break and have running by the afternoon. The technical friction is essentially zero.
